This DC injection unit is similar to the above apart from having an in built starter, which means that every time you activate the stop button the quick braking effect takes place. It also means it is very easy to install. Typical applications are woodworking machines and other production type machinery. The “Quickstop“ Unit This unit is housed in a metal enclosure and is ideal for retrofitting to machines which require rapid stopping, and where an AC motor is the driving force. This unit is fitted between the isolator and the starter of the machine and is activated by a telescopic probe or other similar emergency switches. You can adjust the braking time and braking torque to suit your machine stopping requirements. Typical applications are lathes, drilling and milling machines.
